The Great American Bash (2008) was the fifth annual Great American Bash professional wrestling pay-per-view event produced by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). It was presented by AT&T and took place on July 20, 2008, at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, New York and featured talent from the Raw, SmackDown, and ECW brands.

- Shelton Benjamin defeated Matt Hardy (c) for the WWE United States Championship
- Mark Henry (c) (with Tony Atlas) defeated Tommy Dreamer (with Colin Delaney) for the ECW Championship
- Chris Jericho defeated Shawn Michaels by referee stoppage
- Michelle McCool defeated Natalya by submission to determine the inaugural WWE Divas Champion
- CM Punk (c) vs. Batista ended in a double disqualification for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship
- John Bradshaw Layfield defeated John Cena - New York City Parking Lot Brawl
- Triple H (c) defeated Edge for the WWE Championship
