Qld Old and New (2)
Originally the PWA Queensland Championship, the Queensland Championship represented Queensland via PWA Queensland and later AWF and High Impact Wrestling throughout Australia. Once considered a stepping stone to the Australian Championship, the Queensland Title has become known for promoting the up and coming Warriors of Queensland Wrestling into Main Event status. The Queensland Title can also claim to be modern Queensland Wrestling's longest serving physical belt as the original championship belt was still in use and has been the only belt to represent the title as it has survived destruction to remain a prominent feature on shows until it was replaced by a new belt in 2015. In 2016 it was defended in AWF and Chaos Championship Wrestling.
