WWE Cody Rhodes
Cody Garrett Runnels (born June 30, 1985) is an American professional wrestler and actor, better known as Cody Rhodes. He recently worked for WWE under the ring name Stardust. He is the son of "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes, and the half-brother of fellow WWE wrestler Goldust. After an amateur wrestling career that resulted in becoming a two-time Georgia State Champion, he followed his father and older brother's footsteps into the professional ranks, joining WWE.

Following becoming a Triple Crown Champion in (at the time) WWE's developmental territory of Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW), he was elevated to the main roster, where he has achieved some success, having been a two-time WWE Intercontinental Champion and a six-time world tag team champion (three World Tag Team Championships and three WWE Tag Team Championships). Along with Goldust, he also won the 2013 Tag Team of the Year Slammy Award.

On May 21, 2016, Runnels revealed on Twitter that he had requested his release from WWE, and was officially granted his release from his contract on May 22, 2016. Rhodes cited frustrations with WWE's creative department and his position within the company as the reasons for requesting his release, noting that he had "pleaded" with writers to end the Stardust gimmick for over 6 months and pitched numerous storyline ideas which had been ignored.

On September 22 2016, [TNA]] confirmed Rhodes, billed simply as "Cody," would be debuting for the promotion on October 2 at TNA Bound For Glory 2016. At Bound for Glory Cody, alongside his wife Brandi, made his TNA debut as a face attacking Mike Bennett and his wife Maria Kanellis-Bennett to begin a feud between the two couples
